This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage that Savings Unlocked uses, what each one is for, and how to change your mind. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information more broadly.
Change your cookie choices
Your current choice is stored in this browser. You can review or withdraw it at any time — no account needed.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep. It is how a website remembers something between one page and the next — that you are signed in, for instance. We also use your browser's local and session storage, which work the same way from your point of view but never leave your device, and we treat them under this policy for that reason. Everything we set is listed below.
2. The Two Categories We Use
Savings Unlocked never asks for a bank login, never stores card numbers, and shows no third-party advertising, so there is less here than on most sites. There are exactly two categories:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work at all. These cannot be switched off, and we set them without asking because without them there is no site to consent to.
- Analytics. Optional. Off until you say otherwise, and switched back off the moment you withdraw.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share what we collect.

4. Analytics Cookies (Optional)
We use PostHog to count how many people search, open an offer, and hand off to their card issuer. This tells us which offers are worth surfacing and where the site loses people. If you are signed in, we identify you to PostHog by your internal account id — never by your email address.
Nothing below is set unless you accept the analytics category. If you reject it or withdraw later, these are cleared.

5. Third-Party Sites
Activating an offer sends you to your card issuer's own website. Once you are there, that company's cookie and privacy practices apply, not ours — we have no visibility into them and no ability to set or read cookies on their domain.
6. How to Control Cookies
- On this site: use the control above, or the same link in the footer of every page.
- In your browser: every major browser can block or delete cookies from its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and stop your wallet from loading.
- Do Not Track: we do not currently respond to browser DNT signals, because there is no agreed standard for what a site should do with one. The controls above are the reliable route.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we add a cookie or change what an existing one does, we will update this page and the Effective Date above. When the change affects what you agreed to, the consent banner will reappear so you can decide again.
